Damage often requires help for restoration.

Damage often requires help for restoration.

Heavy rain and wind from a hurricane toppled an old oak tree, which damaged the sidewalk. A crew of city workers arrived to make repairs.

Their painstaking, methodical efforts transformed what had been an eyesore and dangerous walkway into a smooth path. God does the same for us.

Storms may be opportunities to remove unhealthy obstacles that jeopardize our ability to move forward. When we experience harm, He mobilizes help to rebuild us.

Debris will be cleared so that there will be clarity choosing the next course of action. Boundaries will be aligned to move us straight toward His purpose for our lives.

God will oversee the project so that our character is strengthened and our confidence fortified. He will keep us from stumbling.

Today’s Bible verse:

“I will lead the blind by ways they have not known, along unfamiliar paths I will guide them; I will turn the darkness into light before them and make the rough places smooth” Isaiah 42:16 NIV.
