Holding Fast
My older son and his wife recently welcomed their second daughter into the family. When I went to visit, I marveled at the wonderful way the couple parented not only the newborn, but also their toddler. Despite fatigue, these young parents created an environment of secure love.
I captured this picture watching the couple rest for a moment on the sofa. They held hands, and I was delighted to see my two-year-old granddaughter scramble up on top of her parents and settle right in the middle of them, reaching her hand to hold theirs.
