Good money management results in Kingdom growth.

Good money management results in Kingdom growth.

Multiplication Facts

Christians often are reluctant to talk about money for fear of appearing greedy or too worldly. However, financial well-being is important. God tasks us with being good stewards. Building churches, feeding people, and staffing full-time ministry takes funding.

In Matthew 25, Jesus tells a parable about bags of gold. He said a wealthy man leaving on a journey entrusted bags of gold to his servants. Two of the three people invested wisely.

“The man who had received five bags of gold went at once and put his money to work and gained five bags more. So also, the one with two bags of gold gained two more,” (Matthew 25:16-17 NIV).

We believers are called to be savvy managers and expand Kingdom resources. We do this not for our personal benefit, but to provide capital for God’s work. If we sit on our talents, opportunities for growth are lost.

We want God to say to us: “Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master’s happiness!” (Matthew 25:21 NIV).

When we step out in faith and labor in love, God will multiply the results. Then everyone profits.
