A cellist's hands blur creating music, much like our prayers reaching Heaven.

In the same way musicians put sound waves into motion, so do our prayers activate heaven's power. We may not see the vibrations, but we definitely can hear results over time.

When was the last time you prayed?

We can make talking with God too difficult. There are no specific formulas, locations, or phrases required. For Him to hear, we need only willing hearts and an earnest desire to seek Him. Not because we want gifts, prosperity, or last-minute rescues from our disobedience, but because we just want to be with God.

Be encouraged that our loving Father is working on our behalf, even if circumstances seem awful. Captured as a young man, Daniel lived under oppression in pagan kingdoms. Instead of growing bitter, he remained strong in his faith and trusted God to deliver.

In a vision, Daniel was told not to fear. “Since the first day that you set your mind to gain understanding and to humble yourself before your God, your words were heard, and I have come in response to them.” (Daniel 10:12 NIV).

Even our faintest whisper testifies to hope.
