Frosty air may nip our noses, but plants soon will release their vibrant greens. If winter has you down, hold on. Spring is near!
There are signs everywhere. Tender shoots peek up from the dark soil, reaching for the sun’s warmth. Tiny leaves unfurl on oaks, heralding a new season.
Sparks of orange flame on vines while purple pops on azaleas. These early bloomers will upstage somber grays.
If you are mired in cold doubt and discouragement, let this message bring joy.
“See! The winter is past; the rains are over and gone. Flowers appear on the earth; the season of singing has come…” (Song of Songs 2:11-12 NIV).
Today’s Prayer:
Dear Lord:
We rejoice in your creation and see hope in nature’s beauty. Amen.
