When presented with a challenge, do you innovate?

Back in the day, Miss Manners and Emily Post guided us in polite behavior. But I’ve never seen either write what to do with spring’s downpour of oak leaves. See which category fits you:

A.  With a live-and-let-live attitude, you don’t bother raking leaves at all.

B.  Super tidy, you bag pesky foliage in recyclable brown bags as soon as it drops and stage it neatly by the curb.

C.  You blow the refuse into the street and make everyone else look at the mess you just moved.

Or D. Someone with a unique approach posted a neighborhood sign this week: “Free oak leaves: U-pick while supplies last.”

That made me laugh. Sure have to give the writer credit for creative thinking. Nice outlook that reminds us “many hands make light the work.”
